Overview

The Swimming event has been held at every Queensland Police and Emergency Services Games since 1986. This year’s event will be held at the 25m Queensland Police Service Academy swimming pool and feature the 25m “Russell Wendt” skins event where losing competitors drop out after each lap until there is one winner.

Description

The Swimming Competition is open to males, females and children with 5yr age groups for medals.  Please note: this pool does not have starting blocks.

Schedule

From 10.15 am:

    • 200m freestyle
    • 50m breaststroke
    • 100 freestyle
    • 50m backstroke
    • 50m butterfly
    • 100m breaststroke
    • 50m freestyle
    • 100m backstroke
    • 800m freestyle
    • 4 x 25m freestyle relay (mixed)
    • 25m SKINS
